You can see reviews of Turnip House on Trip Advisor.
We were delighted to get this review in May:
"Looks can be deceptive. This appears to be a cafe in an old garage beside a derelict house (which is actually what it is!) but it is so cosy, and warm. The staff are incredibly nice , there seems to be a real community interest in the place. The soups ,scones (made in front of us!) , cakes , coffees and tea are delicious and unbelievably cheap. Food is organic and local where possible. I doubt you can find a better, more interesting ,warm or welcoming place....and a big dog too!"
